Denise’s Daring Daydreams for 10/01/2026

Our Lunch Bunch Class at Unity of Music City just completed the Study of “A New Way To Be Human - Seven Spiritual Pathways to Becoming Fully Alive” By Robert Taylor. This study was profoundly life changing for many of us that read Robert’s Life Story. In some ways his book parallels that of JT Collins and her book, “Face in the Mirror”. Both writers unveil the story of their lives and how they began to fully step into who they came to this world to be; even though there were obstacles and persons who would have chosen for them to remain in the status quo.

Kim Ewell will be speaking this Sunday morning as I will be in Evansville, Indiana at Unity of Evansville, supporting Glenda Walden as she moves toward Ordination as a Unity Minister. I will be working with her board and leadership this weekend; facilitating some of the deep work that has to happen for a leadership to come together and be effective in a spiritual community. Kim Ewell and Nancy McMarrow have been facilitating UMC’s Leadership Circle Training this year. The ones of us in leadership that have been consistently willing and brave enough to show up, have done deep work within ourselves in the way we are “Being” in this world.

I have a daring daydream that keeps running through my head. This dream is that Unity of Music City is a great beacon of light that is so bright, “others will see it and glorify Spirit and the Heaven we have created.” For that vision to pop, we must have a group of dedicated people on board that are ready to do whatever it takes to be that light. We must be willing to let go of limitations and the situations or experiences we feel have held us back…. (the past). That vision begins with “Embracing Wholeness” which is the title of Kim’s lesson for this Sunday.

I was speaking with a coaching client just yesterday. This person is maneuvering through the gap between the life she is currently living and the life she envisions for herself. She spoke several times about having to change. Over the last 8 months, I have been clearer about what that statement really means. And I have changed my thoughts – “imagine that!” I believe the process is not about change, although it may look like that and feel like that. It is about stepping into our Wholeness – becoming who we truly came here to become. Don’t you feel as you read these words that you Higher Self – The Being that really is you is celebrating with you right here right now? Yeah - he/she is getting this!

Join myself and Kim and others in our Leadership as we hold the vision of Wholeness, Oneness, Love, Joy and Peace. We are walking through that gap right now as we prepare for a New Day at Unity of Music City.

“Swing Wide the Doors the Time is Right.

Swing Wide the Doors to Let in the Light.

Bring In The Dawn of Human Kind.

Swing Wide the Doors of this Heart of Mine.”
