Denise’s Daring Daydreams for 10/08/2015

Denise's Daring Daydreams
We began this year at Unity of Music City, focusing on Dreaming; Creating, Building, and Stepping into our Dreams.  Over the last 9 months I’ve heard everything from, “I have this dream and I don’t know how to create it” to “I hate Mary Mannin Morrissey”.  Well – Mary did not create the Dreaming Process – the living loving spirit of God gave it to each of us as a gift.  Mary has just created a vehicle using the Unity Principles that most people can use to travel the amazing journey towards the creation of their dreams.

Mary is an ordained new thought minister who has used the process in her own life and with her family and friends.  They each have realized in their own ways and in their own time that it works.  She has then taught it to hundreds of thousands of people all over the planet and guess what?  It has worked for them also!  The process is really nothing more than our basic Unity Principles on Steroids.  You have to be willing to do more than the pray and meditate on your life. What I mean by that is you have to be willing to do the work to create the life you want to live!

Each time I teach the Unity Principles, I begin to see how they are the essence of Dream Building in our lives; hence why I became a Dream Builder Life Coach.  I have heard many amazing lessons, speeches and debates on the principles themselves.  I even sat in a Unity Conference back in 2002, where we had discussions for several days about collapsing the principles down to one thought, and what would that thought be?

Over the years I have simplified the principles in my mind.  It is not that I cannot speak each principle in totality and give you a recitation of what each one means.  It is that I have found the beauty of “Living the Unity Way of Life.”  That way of life leads you to love, joy and peace.  That way of life leads you to contentment in a way that others only dream of.  And that way of life leads you to creating the life of your dreams – if you are willing.

Join me over the next three Sundays as we begin a journey of discovering how to create and live an inspired life – One Divine Thought (at a time; that we) Pray and Meditate on (or Marinate as I tell my clients) and then ACT!  Do You Have the Guts to be Extraordinary?  Live the Unity Way of Life.  I am excited to bring this series of lessons to you – and doubly excited that the amazing Vic Sorrell will be joining me Sunday to share in the excitement.  Love and blessings to each of you.

Denise’s Daring Daydreams for 10/01/2015

Denise's Daring Daydreams

Our Lunch Bunch Class at Unity of Music City just completed the Study of “A New Way To Be Human – Seven Spiritual Pathways to Becoming Fully Alive” By Robert Taylor.  This study was profoundly life changing for many of us that read Robert’s Life Story.  In some ways his book parallels that of JT Collins and her book, “Face in the Mirror”.  Both writers unveil the story of their lives and how they began to fully step into who they came to this world to be; even though there were obstacles and persons who would have chosen for them to remain in the status quo.

Kim Ewell will be speaking this Sunday morning as I will be in Evansville, Indiana at Unity of Evansville, supporting Glenda Walden as she moves toward Ordination as a Unity Minister.  I will be working with her board and leadership this weekend; facilitating some of the deep work that has to happen for a leadership to come together and be effective in a spiritual community.  Kim Ewell and Nancy McMarrow have been facilitating UMC’s Leadership Circle Training this year.  The ones of us in leadership that have been consistently willing and brave enough to show up, have done deep work within ourselves in the way we are “Being” in this world.

I have a daring daydream that keeps running through my head.  This dream is that Unity of Music City is a great beacon of light that is so bright, “others will see it and glorify Spirit and the Heaven we have created.”  For that vision to pop, we must have a group of dedicated people on board that are ready to do whatever it takes to be that light.  We must be willing to let go of limitations and the situations or experiences we feel have held us back…. (the past).  That vision begins with “Embracing Wholeness” which is the title of Kim’s lesson for this Sunday.

I was speaking with a coaching client just yesterday.  This person is maneuvering through the gap between the life she is currently living and the life she envisions for herself.  She spoke several times about having to change.  Over the last 8 months, I have been clearer about what that statement really means.  And I have changed my thoughts – “imagine that!”  I believe the process is not about change, although it may look like that and feel like that.  It is about stepping into our Wholeness – becoming who we truly came here to become.  Don’t you feel as you read these words that you Higher Self – The Being that really is you is celebrating with you right here right now?  Yeah – he/she is getting this!

Join myself and Kim and others in our Leadership as we hold the vision of Wholeness, Oneness, Love, Joy and Peace.  We are walking through that gap right now as we prepare for a New Day at Unity of Music City.

“Swing Wide the Doors the Time is Right.

Swing Wide the Doors to Let in the Light.

Bring In The Dawn of Human Kind.

Swing Wide the Doors of this Heart of Mine.”
