Denise’s Daring Daydreams 01/04/18

“It’s a new dawn, It’s a new day, It’s a new life for me – and I’m feeling “. . . . The song sung by Nina Simone  and several others would end those phrases with “I’m feeling good.”  What I am keenly aware of is that there are many in our world today that are not feeling good.  Whether it be in regards to climate change disasters,  economic fluctuations/conflicts their lives or world, there are many people who are experiencing situations that are quite challenging.  For that very reason Unity of Music City’s Theme for 2018 is, Leaving A Legacy of Love.

As we have closed 2017 with a  focus on being a #force4good, we have established an outreach ministry that is diligently looking for ways to ease the suffering of others and to assist them in finding ways to move from the model of the soup kitchen to the pot luck dinner.  When persons are able to stop asking the question, “What can I get or what’s in it for me?” and move to asking the question “What can I give or what’s in it from me?” the entire energy in their lives begin to change.  Then there truly is a new dawn, a new day and a new life; and a chance to begin to feel good about themselves, maybe for the very first time.

I hope you will join us this Sunday, January 7, 2018, the first Sunday in the New Year.  The amazing Eric Santagada will be sharing special music, and I do believe he has a new CD.  We will be discussing our journey for 2018 and our desire to become a place where people feel love, joy and peace permeating from our collective energy when they enter our grounds.

Leaving a Piece of our Hearts For Generations to See We are Building a Legacy of Love,

Denise’s Daring Daydreams for 12/21/17

So here we are, just a few days before Christmas. We have almost made it through 3 weeks of Advent – Hope, Peace & Love. As a planet we are moving into the Resonance of Joy. What would it mean if your Body, Mind and Spirit vibrated at the level of pure Joy?
Joy, to me, is a chosen state of mind and an orientation of the heart. It happens when I settle into contentment or am mindful that my life is moving in the flow. I begin to recognize little magical moments that make me giggle. At that specific moment, I give up the need to control, I surrender to a mighty power and in that holy instant I feel the flow of Joy.
So the question is, what am I willing to allow joy to flow through my Body Mind and Spirit? I hope you will join us for a Multigenerational Christmas Eve Morning (11:00 a.m.) We will take a journey through the 12 powers with assistance from the Youth and their teachers along with our Chaplain Program and our amazing Music Team. If you truly are ready to raise your vibration to that of joy, join us Sunday morning. “When you look for me, look in the district of Joy. We are the inhabitants of the world of Joy.” ~Rumi~
There is something sacred here,
