Denise’s Daring Daydreams for 11/07/2019

Last week we watched as Dorothy met the Tin Man and we also became more aware of the fact that pairing the brain with the heart assists us in the forward movement of our lives.  As we move towards Sunday, November 10th, we become more and more focused on our “gut.”

Our gut is directly engaged with the world.  Our gut also deals with instinct and intuition which leads us to the immediacy of the situation at hand.  As I have shared with many of you, when my gut speaks to me, I have learned that it is definitely time to listen.  If I disregard my gut, I have learned that I end up in a “world of hurt.” So, where does courage come in?

The Cowardly Lion tells us that if we only had the nerve we could take the next step even if we were afraid.  So, it is up to me to determine if I am afraid of my next step or if I am afraid of not taking the next step and having my gut flare up?  Maybe I’m supposed to go a different way?

A lot to think about?  Yes it is.  Learning to align our heads, our hearts and our guts is the beginning of living a life of peace, purpose and passion and leaning into the lives each of us desire to live.  Our own Praise and Worship Team will be sharing some music to help us remember that we need that “Circle of 5” or so persons to stand beside us as we journey down our path.   Dorothy had Toto, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion . . . . . who are the supporters for your life?

“No I won’t be afraid, no I won’t shed a tear

Just as long as you stand by me.”

See you Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
