Denise’s Daring Daydreams for 09/26/19

How would my life be different if I always did my best?  Sound a little overwhelming or impossible?  As we move to the last Sunday of September and our last piece in the study of The 4 Agreements, we see that Don Miguel Ruiz stated that our best shifts and changes.  What exactly does that mean?

First, the only thing we can count on is change.  Everything in our world is changing all the time – look out your window at the trees and become aware of the changing colors.  When I wake up refreshed in the morning my best will be better than when I wake up tired because I haven’t slept well.  My best will be better when I am healthy as opposed to sick, happy as opposed to angry or sad.

The other thing for me to remember is that when I choose to do “less than my best,” I will subject myself to frustrations, self-judgement and regrets.  So how do I make the decision to always do my best, no matter what other persons may say or think?  I make a commitment to myself.  Sound easy?  Probably not so much.

Join us on Sunday morning as we make the ultimate commitment to ourselves – to do the best we can do in each an every moment and then to let it go.  In that way we can be the lights we were meant to be and shine, shine, shine. Voices of Unity will be in the house to bless us.

Let me be a light in the darkness,
Rev. Denise
