Denise’s Daring Daydreams for 03/23/2017

Sunday’s focus is honoring the Sabbath as a part of the Lenten process.  The scriptures tell us we live and move and have our being in the energy that is God the Divine Creator of the Universe.  If that fact be true then ‘Keeping a True Sabbath’ is about aligning our Body, Mind and Spirit to the energy that is alive within and all around us.

So I ask you, do you use your prayer and meditation time to align with that energy — or — do you use your prayer and meditation time to go to the ocean with a teaspoon hoping that you will be able to hold onto every drop?

We can break through to a blessed life when we take time every day, week, month to reset our breath and align our Minds our Bodies and our Spirit to the one presence and the one Power.  When we do just that, it is the Christ within who does the work.

Sunday we will be looking at The Prayer of Jabez and how a man that was experiencing pain and sorrow, totally turned his life around with a specific prayer created to align his energy to the flow.  The awesome Voices of Unity will be sharing music.  I have also been told that Jamie, Sherrie and Denise (who ever that might be) will be sharing some “Freedom” with all of us.

Denise’s Daring Daydreams for 03/16/2017

Jesus the Master Teacher told his followers that unless they became as little children they would never inherit the kingdom of heaven.  Now I don’t know about you, but that statement at times causes me to think, “Wonder how I would respond to this situation if I were more child like?

I call to mind three examples of children who responded to three different situations in brave ways.  Their courageous behaviors not only affected the people around then but shaped the future of our world.

Anne Frank
Bravely wrote the account of
hiding during the Holocaust

Ruby Bridges
The first black child to enter
an all-white elementary school
In Louisiana in 1960

Charlie Simpson
Raised 120,000 British Pounds
for earthquake victims in Haiti
by riding his bike.

These children had not even read the book about becoming a #force4good.  It just flowed from them naturally.  Do you believe that is a part of what Jesus was saying?

Join me on Sunday morning as we take a little deeper look into how we as adults could learn a few things from the children we choose to be around.  And joining me for special music is Carol Grace Anderson, a performer who is truly a child at heart.

I leave you with a Wayne Dyer Quote:

“Recapture your childlike feelings of wide-eyed excitement, spontaneous appreciation, cutting loose, and being full of awe and wonder at this magnificent universe.”

Namaste’
